”Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable…Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concerns of dedicated individuals.”
– Martin Luther King Jr.“To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffering.”
– Friederich Nietzsche
We cannot put an end to suffering. Suffering is an innate condition put upon us by Nature. It is in the soil of suffering from which sprouts the seed of each persons Divine Self. No. We cannot put an end to suffering.
However, we can and must put an end to inequitable suffering that is placed upon us, not by the equitable Mother Nature, but by the lowly kings who bind us in their hierarchies, to generate power structures of “US” vs “THEM”. These things are illusions to which we are bound solely by our belief in them. This government or that government. This money or that money. This religion or that religion. These systems are designed to keep you in check, to prevent you from asking, “With what authority?”. Some will say that Nature gifted us this power and authority, but if this were true, why does our Family suffer inequitably?
And so, I ask that we stop putting Faith in our “systems”, as they are corrupt and/or corruptible. Instead, put your Faith in your Neighbor. Go to them, with an open heart, and ask what they need and how you can be of service. If we all opened our hearts in such a way and simply looked after one another as the Family we are, how then would we Suffer?
With love,
