Had Matter

Don’t you see this fractured mind,
Lost in shadowed, cluttered house?

Forgotten memories and dreams,
Treasured relics of gilded times,
Adorning walls; Stained and stenched,
Adrenal secretions of fear and flight,
Catatonic murder in the making.

Hopeless struggles of spring cleaning,
Rome wasn’t built in a day;
Apparitions, children of the forest,
Unkempt, soiled floors for the burning;
Cycles known from savage times.

Arsonists fire ablaze in aethereal fury,
Phoenix rising from the stardust;
Ascension of the Morning Star,
Escaping this Event Horizon,
Transmuting fractal Chaos.

Don’t you see this fractured mind,
Casting shadows upon space time?
